inside scoop.

Watch this space. The most awesomeness triple team photo blog is on its way. Can't reveal identities of secret photographers, however I can provide three clues:

1. This person is knighted.
2. This person really enjoys breakfast.
3. This person is a world renowned traveller.

One common trait between them all - part of team awesomeness.

list 1: most awesomeness tv shows.

With the growing popularity of people watching TV shows from downloads or streaming sites, and request from friends on what shows to watch, I have decided to compile a list of TV shows that deserves the claim to be on the most awesomeness list.

Dramas:
1. Mad Men - simply the best. + January Jones, life can't get any better.
2. Friday Night Lights - Texas, football, high school. Epic.
3. The Wire - Baltimore, drug dealers, its true.
4. Justified - an US Marshall with a Kentucky accent + shooting people. Not your typical drama.

Comedies:
1. Arrested Development - if you do not enjoy this comedy, comedy is not your thing.
2. Curb Your Enthusiasm - Two words, Larry David.
3. Community - Best duo ever, Troy and Abed(watch ending credits).
4. Modern Family - Best children actors period, even Lily.
5. The Office (US) - all I need is one awesome line from Michael or Dwight each episode and I'm satisfied.

Notable Omissions:
The Sopranos - I need to watch it all.
30 Rock - less guest appearance please! Unless its Elizabeth Banks or Jon Hamm.
In Treatment - Ridiculously intense, and this is 3 episodes into the whole series. Can't wait to watch more.
Scrubs - Love it, yet not compelled to put it on the list...

I will try to post photos of my favourite scenes/characters of these shows later.

lack of umbrella etiquette.

Rain. I like rain. I like it when girls dress really nice to complement the rainy weather. I dig it if they have nice stylish gumboots, but nothing too splashy (sorry about the pun, but its true). But I am not a fan of the lack of umbrella etiquette people tend to have, and I must say women are the biggest culprit - definitely not awesomeness. Please don't use those cheap little brollis with sharp metal bits sticking out. It is hard enough to maneuver and weave in and out of the city rush, but add a brolli to your possession when it is raining, it is a weapon of mass destruction to our suits and more importantly our eyes.

Girls, in particular short girls, please don't use a brolli when it is clearly not raining, it is not a good look, and you are not awesome. Your hair won't get wet, likewise with your makeup, blouse, shirt, dress, stockings. Instead use it as a walking companion (wooden handle umbrella preferably), now that is an awesome look.

accessory awesomeness.

Boredom at work can lead to a whole host of randomness. Such as this lil beauty. I know girls have their obsession with bags, but I have a new obsession to the accessory to these bags. With photos like these, I'm rooting for this company (jenny was here) to continue rocking some new lookbooks, especially summer 10.

stumbling onto a console.

Continuing on the awesome theme, I have stumbled upon (literally, thanks to stumbleupon add-on for Firefox) to consellection. A site that shows all the consoles that have ever graced the face of earth.

Those who loved gaming, and even those who did not (but watched others play) will surely enjoy or have memories of the amount of hours spent sitting infront of the TV, button bashing the controller (or watching others whilst eating).

Side note - a Pokemon N64? wtf?!

who oozes awesomeness?

The current executive creative director of J.Crew Mr. Drexler is literally in one word, awesome. With his leadership and direction, he has managed to make J.Crew an awesome place to shop. WSJ mag has a feature on him.

Just look at that image - riding his bike around the office + a Gary Fisher Simple City bike - awesomeness.

N.B. I have J.Crew clothes and personally ride a Gary Fisher Simple City bicycle - therefore I am like Mr Drexler, awesomeness.
